Arab American Service Day is held each year to highlight the commitment of Arab Americans to their communities at large, and focus on the importance of giving back as an essential part of being an American today. This year marks the 7th annual National Day of Service. This year we're picking up paintbrushes and donating toothbrushes! Join us as we help ICNA Relief, a refugee relief center paint the center and donate household cleaning items or personal hygiene items to refugee families. What a great way to give back to the community, especially during these pressing times of our culture. I've been able to volunteer a couple of times and it was well worth it for many reasons. First is because it is important to give back to help those less fortunate (the giving of self). Secondly, you help stand as a witness and a face to others for our culture by your good actions and deeds.
